Diet Balancers for alfalfa or grass: Low carb, low calorie pellets that provide amino acids, vitamins and major & trace minerals in the proper balance to give your horse all that she needs. Created with the breeding stallion and mare, lactating mare and growing horse in mind.
ProAdd Ultimate: A double-concentrated diet balancer that will provide the same excellent nutrition in half the amount. If you have a horse with Cushing's, metabolic disorder, insulin resistance, is prone to founder or is just plain overweight, this is the perfect answer. You'll be amazed at how little you feed to provide Recommended Daily Allowances for your equine.
Adult Diet Balancer: Made with the same high quality ingredients as the regular Diet Balancer but reflects the lower Recommended Daily Allowances for adult horses that are not reproducing.
Envision Classic: A fat supplement that can be used as a top dressing to add weight or as the primary source of calories for your horse. Excellent energy source for endurance needs. Allows you the flexibility to adjust calories as your horse gains or loses weight, and makes the coat shine and helps hooves, too!
Foals First Starter & Creep: Pelleted food to transition a youngster from milk to "real" food. Designed for babies' delicate systems while their cecums are still developing and they can't digest grain products. Great supplement to mom's milk or for orphaned or rejected foals. Designed to be fed free choice, it has all the important trace minerals and nutrients needed to keep the skeletal growth on track.
Growth Formula: In pelleted and textured (sweet) versions; 16% protein and is concentrated so you can feed less, contains Diet Balancer (see above). Low sugar and low starch = low carbohydrate food. It can be fed to horses of any age; it's called "growth" because it can be fed in lesser amounts without compromising nutrition.
LoCarb Pellet: Introduced in 2011, this pellet has no soy and boasts a non-structural carbohydrate of under 9%. This is an excellent product for horses that need calories but are challenged by Cushing's, founder, insulin resistance and metabolic disorders. Like all PN formulas, it is easily digested and very tasty even though it has no molasses or corn in it.
Premium Performance Formula: In pelleted and textured (sweet) versions; 14% protein, still concentrated so you can feed less than with other brands, contains Diet Balancer (see above). Low sugar and low starch = low carbohydrate food. Great for the horse who needs more calories without a lot of carbs.
Pro-Elite HF: This remarkable new (mid-2011) food is a high fat, low carbohydrate product made by extrusion rather than pelleting. The benefits of this extruded feed include great digestibility (none hits the hindgut which is the general problem area for gastric upset and colic induced by too much grain) and the ability to feed at a reduced volume. Senior Formula: A complete and concentrated pelleted food for horses who are unable to chew hay, regardless of age. With 20% fiber, it still contains Diet Balancer (see above) for excellent nutritional value. Can be a great option when hay quality or availability is "iffy."
None of these foods will make your horses "hot" as they are all low carb, easily digested and contain high quality raw materials. They are all fixed formulas so you know each product remains consistent from one production cycle to the next.
